Solar, Battery & Microgrid FAQ | GTP Solar

Frequently asked questions

Power-system decisions, made easier.

A starting point for homeowners, commercial customers and international project partners.

FIND THE RIGHT ANSWER

Common questions, answered clearly.

Every site, utility plan and operating priority is different. These answers explain the starting point; a needs survey helps us discuss the right configuration for your situation.
Should a California solar system include a battery?

It depends on when you use electricity, your backup priorities and the economics of your utility plan. A battery can increase self-consumption and provide selected-load backup; the right size should be based on actual usage.

Can I use solar without exporting energy to the grid?

Yes. A zero-export configuration can be designed to prioritize on-site use and battery charging. The correct solution depends on the local utility, equipment and site electrical design.

What information is helpful for an initial assessment?

Your location, application, energy bills or load profile, preferred power sources, outage or operating requirements, and target timeline are the most helpful starting points.

Do you only provide equipment, or a full solution?

We can support both equipment supply and integrated system planning, including solar, BESS, power conversion, transformers, switchgear and control architecture.

Can you support projects outside the United States?

Yes. Jinxing Power supports international industrial, commercial and remote-site power projects, with scope tailored to the project and local delivery requirements.

Do you offer financing?

For eligible projects, payment-plan discussions may be available. Terms and approval depend on the customer, provider and final agreement. Visit the Financing page for the discussion framework.

UNDERSTAND THE ENERGY PATH

From sunlight to the power you use.

Solar panels produce direct current. A power conversion system prepares that energy for the home or site, and storage can hold selected production for later use.

The actual equipment, meter arrangement and utility requirements depend on the project. We use your site information to discuss a practical system direction.
